CASCADE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD)—The Delta Air Lines Foundation donated enough money to the West Michigan Aviation Academy for it to buy an airplane.

The school used the $150,000 grant to buy a Cessna 172 with which they can train future pilots.

Wednesday, school officials unveiled the plane and thanked Delta for the gift that made the purchase possible.

The West Michigan Aviation Academy is located at the Gerald R. Ford International Airport in Cascade Township, just outside of Grand Rapids.
