Striving to improve our nation’s K-12 education system by breaking down barriers to educational choice.
Focusing its time and resources on supporting state‑level efforts to provide low and middle income families with access to great schools, the American Federation for Children advocates for school choice programs.
The AFC envisions an education system where parents are able to choose the best educational environment for their children; whether it be in a traditional public school, public charter school, private school, home school, virtual learning, or blended learning.
School choice programs empower more than 310,000 families across the country. Through voucher programs, scholarship tax credit programs, Education Savings Accounts, and other education choices, students can access the school that best meets their educational needs.
